One day, I don’t know when exactly, everybody around me started demanding. They said I needed to learn to walk. I said okay. Soon, they all showed up again and said that I needed to go to a school. I said okay. Some years later, they joined in again to decide what would be best for me and then commanded me to join a college. I said okay.
I had, by then, already put down my dreams in my journal. And funnily enough, not one was aligned with the ones that was supposed from me.
Since then, I have declined a job offer, authored a fiction book, and has suffered rejection quite a few handful times too. But most importantly, I have learned to check the boxes lying against my dreams.
And a little bit of freelancing too!
