They said we – women, we cry too often.
I said we feel things intently.
They said we shop too often.
I said a lot is on display for us.
They said we aren’t funny.
I said we would be if you stop taking puns on the male ego.
They said most of us have an attitude.
I said we have standards to maintain.
They said we are revealing too much.
I said it doesn’t matter, you rape anyways.
They said we are starting to get insolent and loud.
I said we are tired of being silent.
They said none of it matters,
because we – women are weak. We can’t bear the pain.
I said we bleed every month.
For a week every time.
